The seats inside the 2500 consist of two benches for six passengers. The front seat is a split 40/20/40 bench, and the back seat is split 60/40. The rear seats can be folded flat for extra cabin space, and the front seats feature an armrest that doubles as a storage area. All of the seats are trimmed in high-quality vinyl, and the floor coverings are made of a rubberized vinyl that can be cleaned off easily.
The driver’s information cluster behind the steering wheel can be viewed via the 3.5-inch diagonal Driver Information Center screen. The GMC Infotainment System hub is located on the color touchscreen on the dashboard. This is where you can customize your vehicle apps, use Bluetooth®, and connect your smartphone. All six passengers are surrounded by six premium speakers while inside the cabin.

The Sierra 2500 has rear-wheel drive, a 6.6-liter V8 engine, and a six-speed HD, electronically controlled automatic transmission that features an overdrive gear for smoother responses on the road. The transmission boasts a separate tow/haul mode as well as Auto Grade Braking to improve control and reduce brake wear and tear. The 2500 heavy-duty truck has a 170-amp alternator, a 3.73 rear axle ratio, and an automatic locking rear differential.
Safety
The Rear Vision Camera shows a live feed of the back bumper of your GMC through your infotainment screen. The camera includes guidelines that follow your steering wheel input, so you can maneuver perfectly every time. The Hitch Guidance program uses the Rear Vision Camera feed to allow you to occasionally look at what you’re hauling while you’re driving.
Trailering Package
With this included standard package, you’ll receive a trailer hitch, a platform for your hitch, four-pin and seven-pin connectors, a 2.5-inch receiver hitch, and the seven-wire electrical harness you’ll need for hooking up your GMC’s taillights to your trailer.
