The 2023 GMC Terrain is a spacious five-passenger crossover with high-tech features. If you’re looking for a compact SUV, explore the four impressive trims of this vehicle before you head to the dealer for your test drive.

Trim Levels of the 2023 GMC Terrain

SLE

Every trim of the Terrain has a 175-horsepower turbo-four with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This SUV can tow up to 1,500 pounds with the right equipment. The base model of the Terrain is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The SLE trim also has a wireless hotspot, a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio, four USB ports, and Bluetooth. It features push-button start, keyless entry, automatic climate control, and an analog gauge cluster. Standard driver assistance equipment includes rear-seat alert, automatic high beams, lane departure warning with lane keeping assistance, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, and a rearview camera.

SLT

If you move up to the SLT trim, upgrades include 18-inch wheels, roof rails, fog lights, a hands-free power liftgate, and a household-style power outlet. This version of the 2023 Terrain also has ambient lighting, leather upholstery, remote start, two-zone automatic climate control, a larger 8-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, and heated, power-adjustable front seats.

You can add a range of different features to make the SLT trim your own. Optional add-ons for this model include a seven-speaker stereo, a head-up display, front parking sensors, and a surround-view 360-degree camera.

AT4

This AWD Terrain model is designed to take on the trails. It comes with black exterior accents, 17-inch wheels, and a skid plate. We recommend adding the cargo package, which includes a vertical cargo net and retractable shade.

Denali

The top-of-the-line trim includes 19-inch wheels and extra driver assistance features like a head-up display, rear cross-traffic alert, a safety alert seat, blind spot monitoring, and parking sensors. In the tech category, upgrades include navigation, wireless charging, a seven-speaker stereo, and an 8-inch digital gauge cluster.

Like the AT4, the Denali is available in AWD only. Available options for this trim include hands-free parking assistance, heated rear seats, and ventilated front seats. It also comes in a special Black Diamond edition that features Ebony Twilight Metallic exterior paint, a power sunroof, 19-inch After Midnight aluminum wheels, and all the available add-ons.

You’ll be wowed by the high-quality interior and modern features of the 2023 Terrain, no matter which trim you decide to take home. In addition to these great features, the Terrain has earned a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
